Ozzy Osburne tragically passes away weeks after farewell show
The singer was announced dead at 76
Just weeks after performing for a huge crowd of fans, English singer Ozzy Osburne has been announced to be dead.
Ozzy Osburne reunited with his Black Sabbath bandmates and did a final performance before passing away.
The news was shared by the singer’s family in a statement saying “It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning.”
The family confirmed that the singer was with his family in his final moments.
“He was with his family and surrounded by love.”, the statement read.
Less than three weeks ago, the singer performed for one last time at Villa Park with his bandmates.
At the show, Ozzy addressed his fans and said “You've no idea how I feel - thank you from the bottom of my heart.”
For the music icon’s final show, a gig was put together that included other artists like Metallica and Guns'n'Roses.
Ozzy suffered from Parkinson’s disease and other injuries he sustained after a fall in 2019.
