Brandi Glanville sparks backlash after calling sons 'boring'

Former The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Brandi Glanville has ignited controversy after making lighthearted but contentious remarks about her sons' clean lifestyle during a recent episode of her podcast, Brandi Glanville Unfiltered.

While discussing recreational drug use with co-host James Maas, Glanville admitted she used cocaine in the 1990s, claiming it was commonplace at the time. 

However, she said she stopped using the drug once fentanyl became widespread due to growing safety concerns.

The reality television personality then joked that her sons, Mason, 23, and Jake, 19, are "boring" because they have never tried cocaine. 

According to Daily Mail, she added that they rarely drink alcohol either, saying she often wonders how they enjoy themselves. 

Moreover, Glanville quickly clarified that, despite her comments, she is proud of their healthy lifestyle and does not want them experimenting with cocaine. Instead, she said she simply wishes they would "party a little more."

Glanville shares her sons with former husband Eddie Cibrian, from whom she divorced in 2010 following his highly publicized affair with singer LeAnn Rimes. 

In recent years, Glanville has spoken openly about co-parenting, saying her children remain her top priority despite their unconventional family dynamic.

As per the outlet, the podcast comments have since prompted mixed reactions online, with some viewers criticizing Glanville's remarks as irresponsible, while others argued they were clearly intended as humor.
