Lindsay Lohan talks about dark phase of her career
The actress has had a difficult time dealing with fame in the past
Lindsay Lohan has many hit acting credits to her name, but her difficult phase while being one of the most famous actresses in the world was also very out in the spotlight.
The actress, who grew close to Jamie Lee Curtis on the set of Freaky Friday, opened up about the dark phase.
During the yearly 2000’s, the actress very publicly struggled as she was involved in drugs, theft, arrests etc., despite giving back-to-back hits.
As the 2003 hit is getting a sequel, Freakier Friday, the on-screen mother-daughter duo sat down to talk about their careers.
“Jamie was with me at a time in my life when I was going through a lot publicly”, Lindsay told People.
“She was privately really there for me. I can trust her.”, she added.
The actress continued talking about feeling safe and said Jamie is one of those safe people.
“I have to feel safe around people. And Jamie is one of those people for me.”
“We’ve both been through hard things, ’cause we’re alive and life is hard. And we’re not dead yet.”, she added.
