Emmy-winning writer-director Mike White just dropped a BIG hint about legendary actress Laura Dern returning to the hit HBO series The White Lotus.
On Thursday, July 17, the director was spotted grabbing smoothies with Dern in Los Angeles.
Dern, who had a voice cameo in Season 2, was seen chatting warmly with the filmmaker at SunLife Organics in Brentwood.
The duo kept it casual for the outing, Mike wore a navy top paired with shorts, while Laura rocked a chic look in jeans and a black jacket.
The two stars were seen laughing and in high spirits during the meet-up, sparking speculation that Dern could be making an on-screen appearance in the upcoming season.
In Season 2, her voice featured as Abby, the estranged wife of Michael Imperioli's character, Dominic Di Grasso.
Notably, White and Dern have previously collaborated on the two-season HBO dramedy Enlightened, in which she starred as Amy Jellicoe, a corporate executive who takes a demotion after a humiliating nervous breakdown.
