Taylor Swift, who is currently dating NFL star Travis Kelce, stood strong during a difficult time as her father underwent a surgery.
Scott Kingsley Swift had to go under the knife for a bypass surgery while his wife Andrea and children, including the 35-year-old singer, stayed by his side.
However, it was a sigh of relief for the Bad Blood songstress and her family as Scott started recovering from the heart procedure, as dished by TMZ.
The Grammy winner’s father received quintuple surgery over a month ago and he is on the road to recovery, feeling “fantastic.”
According to the outlet, the surgery was “NOT the result of a heart attack” as it was diagnosed during a regular checkup.
The pop sensation’s father has always proved to be her staunch supporter as he intervened to “protect” his daughter from Blake Lively's case.
It was reported by another outlet that Scott would not let the Lover crooner to “be dragged” in the legal crossfire between Blake and Justin Baldoni.
This came after a ruling in the It Ends With Us lawsuit declared that Justin will be granted full access to private conversations between the Blank Space hitmaker and her Gossip Girl alum.

Blake called Taylor one of her “dragons” in text messages, which sparked a reaction from Justin. Although the singer was later subpoenaed in the ongoing lawsuit, the subpoena was soon dropped.
