Christopher Nolan’s highly anticipated film The Odyssey recently resumed production at a new location after wrapping up scenes in Morocco.
The movie’s cast and crew travelled to Scotland as lead actors Matt Damon, Tom Holland and Zendaya were spotted arriving on set.
Damon acknowledged the cameras, arriving in full costume of dark boots, cattle armour, ancient Greek-style tunic and a long dark green cape.
Meanwhile, the lovebirds Holland and Zendaya were seen entering separately off a small boat without costumes.
Notably, the Spider-Man star is set to play Telemachus, son of Odysseus, while the Dune actress will star as goddess Athena.
The pictures mark the first time the group was seen filming on-site. Before this, the trio were photographed shooting in Italy, where the 54-year-old actor showed off his impressive physique for the role of Odysseus.
In an interview with PEOPLE magazine, John Leguizamo, who is also part of The Odyssey, praised Nolan on his vision for the film. He said, "It was like being with a visionary — like what I imagine it must have been like to work with Stanley Kubrick."
Leguizamo’s voice was heard in the first trailer of The Odyssey, which was exclusively released in theatres ahead of Jurassic Park: Rebirth; however, his role is still kept under wraps.
While plot details are scarce, rumours suggest Nolan may adapt Homer’s epic from Telemachus' perspective.
