My Chemical Romance sent fans into a frenzy by sharing a cryptic post on their social media ahead of their nostalgic concert.

The band, which consists of lead vocalist Gerard Way, lead guitarist Ray Toro, bass guitarist Mikey Way and rhythm guitarist Frank Iero performed in Seattle on Friday, July 11.

During the performance, the bandmates who reformed the group in 2019, sported the black parade costumes they first sported in the cult-classic hit, Welcome to the Black Parade.

The concert also flashed some cryptic messages as it went on, which the rock band had also done not too long before their concert on their official Instagram page.

My Chemical Romance uploaded a picture that seemed to be taken from a video camera viewfinder with “Time 07:11:25:00" written on it.

The caption with the image read, "A dagger, a dagger, Please fetch me a dagger."

Fans quickly flocked to their social media platforms to speculate what it meant, with one writing, “Not sure if there’s going to be a new album, but at least one new song.”

Another referenced their 2024 When We Were Young festival performance, which also contained dagger imagery.

“Weren’t there swords in the light projections on stage that everyone was debating the meaning of afterwards?” the fan wrote, making a connection.

What are My Chemical Romance up to now?

My Chemical Romance is currently performing the Long Live The Black Parade tour in North America, with most venues already being sold out.
