Oasis fans alerted ahead of Noel, Liam’s Manchester comeback

Oasis fans have been given safety warnings ahead of Noel and Liam Gallagher’s highly anticipated performances in Manchester this week.

As five sold-out performances of the rock band are scheduled between July 11-20, at Heaton Park, SJM, a UK-based concert promotion company, shared an update with fans as the UK is on alert for another heatwave.

SJM said in a statement via Manchester Evening News: “With a very hot weather forecast on both Friday and Saturday, please stay hydrated, you will be permitted to bring a sealed bottle of water up to 500ml. This must be collapsible plastic.”

“Wear sunscreen…protect yourself from the sun overall/ wear a hat; we know the legendary bucket hat will be making an appearance…Look after yourself and those around you,” organisers added.

The Britpop legends’ reunion tour marks their first performances in the city in almost 16 years.

Noel and Liam Gallagher will play to around 80,000 fans each night. The fans will be allowed to enter the venue from 3pm on the day of each show.

Both brothers will be joined by former members of Oasis, Gem Archer, Paul Bonehead Arthurs, Andy Bell, and drummer Joey Waronker.

What are the next locations for Oasis’ tour?

After Manchester, Oasis will perform in London, Edinburgh, and Dublin, before kicking off the international leg of their tour in North and South America, Australia, and Asia.
