Kevin Jonas opens up about financial condition after Jonas Brothers split

Kevin Jonas recently spilt the beans on the financial struggles he faced following the Jonas Brothers’ breakup.

The 37-year-old musician appeared on The School of Greatness podcast, hosted by Lewis Howes, alongside his younger brothers Nick, 32, and Joe, 35, on July 7.

During the conversation, Kevin revealed that his adulthood decisions had resulted in a major economic downfall.

“I experienced the rise to financial success without truly understanding wealth—what it means, how to manage it—and then losing nearly all of it,” he confessed.

Lewis, 42, responded with surprise, asking whether he had truly lost everything.

“Yeah, most of it—down to about 10 per cent left,” the eldest of the trio admitted.

The singer went on to explain the cause of the setback.

“I invested heavily in real estate and other ventures,” he said, adding, “At the time, I was expanding, but unfortunately, the partnership I was in turned out to be the wrong one.”

For the unversed, the Jonas Brothers first rose to fame in 2005 with their debut tour.

Notably, their first album, It’s About Time, was released in 2006, followed by their iconic roles in Disney’s Camp Rock in 2008.

Unfortunately, by 2013, the band parted ways. However, they made a comeback after five years in 2019.
