Kesha has pulled out of her upcoming concert show in Dallas as Texas has been severely devastated by flash floods.
The pop star took to Instagram and announced the cancellation of the show at Dos Equis Pavilion on Tuesday, July 7, citing safety concerns.
The 38-year-old singer wrote: “I wanted to say thank you for coming out to support an independent artist. I have been so excited for tonight and to celebrate my freedom and go tits out with all of you.”
While expressing the concerns, the American songwriter said: “But due to the weather and what yall here in Texas have been facing, I have to put your safety first.”
“My heart is with you Texas. I’m so sorry that I can’t play this show tonight because of the weather and for all of your safety,” Kesha added.
Prayer songstress concluded the note saying: “I’m going to stay here in your beautiful city and come back here tomorrow…All of your tickets will be honored and I’m so sorry. Get home safe, let’s party tomorrow.”
Kesha is also expected to perform another gif in The Woodlands, Texas on Thursday, July 10 before she takes her tour to Illinois.
The announcement came on the heels of NBC news, reporting that more than 107 people have lost their lives due to deadly flash flooding in Dallas.
Kesha’s biggest hits include Right Round, Timber, Blow, Die Young, Take it Off, and Good Old Days.
