The rock band rose to prominence in the 1990s as their debut album became the best-selling in the UK. They sold 40 million records around the world where 6 million copies were sold in the United States.
Their feud reportedly began with a trivial matter, where Noel claimed that Liam smashed the 58-year-old’s guitar in the dressing room backstage after wielding it “like an axe.”
After his alleged violent behaviour, Noel made a heartbreaking announcement: “It’s with some sadness and great relief to tell you that I quit Oasis tonight.”
