Oasis, the iconic britpop band consisting of brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher, have finally reunited in an epic comeback at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium after 16 years.
The reunion marked an end to the conflict between two brothers and as they performed on a sold out show in front of more than 75,000 people, fans were left in tears.
On Friday, July 4, the brothers took to the stage hand-in-hand and wowed the audience with an electrifying performance.
The pair performed some of their top hits, including Wonderwall, Some Might Say and Morning Glory.
The 52-year-old lead singer expressed overwhelming emotions at the event as he said, “Manchester vibes in the area,” before emotionally shouting, “Yes beautiful people! It’s been too long.”
The show closed with an emotional note: “Thanks for putting up with us over the years. We’re hard work. We get it.”
Concertgoers took to X, formerly Twitter, to express their excitement as one wrote, “The reunion is a dream come true,” another chimed in with, “Just like good old days.”
This marks the end of a long-standing feud between Gallagher brothers which reportedly erupted in 2009 over a backstage fight at a festival in Paris.
