Noel Gallagher’s ex Meg Mathews reacts to reunion speculations

Noel Gallagher’s ex Meg Mathews, who recently sparked reunion speculations, has opened up about her relationship with the singer.

Much to the fans’ disappointment, Meg has denied getting back together with the 'Oasis' star.

The rumours erupted soon after the 59-year-old columnist posted a reel on Instagram featuring a collection of loved-up snaps with Noel.

She captioned her post, “Throwback to the 90s when gigs were everything and my hair was questionable. After 100’s of DM’s asking for old photos I decided to do a countdown from my favourite Oasis gigs - 6 to go.”

Fans were quick to speculate a reunion, as one wrote, “Please tell us you are back together again.” Another chimed in, “the best era, the best couple, wish you got back together.”

Meg quickly put the rumours to rest as she responded to a comment reading: “So glad to see you guys are back together. Make a wonderful couple. Love like that never dies,” by saying, “We are not back together.”

Despite not being together, Meg appears to be a big fan of her ex-husband’s music as she’s regularly posting a countdown to 'Oasis World Tour' which is scheduled to begin on July 4, 2025.

Meg Mathews and Noel Gallagher tied the knot in June 1997 and the couple called off their marriage four years later in 2001. However, the recent snaps by the Meg shows that the pair still shares a lovely bond between them.
