Get ready for a bass- heavy squeal!
The Houston rapper, Travis Scott, has taken the internet by storm with a thumps-up date for Jackboys 2 set to cast fire on streaming platforms this Sunday (July 13).
Travis Scott has dropped the bombshell in his Instagram post last night, where the rapper posted the album artwork and wrote, “JB2 OUT EVERY WHERE 7 13 SPEAKERS AND SCREAMS AT MAX VOLUME.”
Scott kicked off the Jackboys 2 era earlier this week with the release of 2000 Excursion on Tuesday (July 8).
The cinematic single, which dropped alongside a high-octane music video on YouTube, reunites him with Cactus Jack labelmates Don Toliver and Sheck Wes over a card- produced beat.
The video showcases Scott and his crew tearing up Texas streets in exotic sports cars and supercharged Ford trucks, even making a pit stop at a Formula 1 race.
Jackboy 2 is dropping tomorrow Sunday, July 13, yes, the hype train is real and officially pulling into the station, with 17 brand new bangers incoming and will be hosting by Huston rap icon Bun B.
Jackboys 2 is built on the legacy of Scott’s 2019 Jackboys album which is expected to be a full-on sonic rollercoaster, and fans are already losing it over the insane visuals, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and spawned hits like Out West and Gatti.
From the 2000 Excursion music video to multiple versions of the cover art (hello, digital and vinyl flex), Travis is not just dropping an album, he is unleashing a movement.
And, the Utopia buzz is still going strong, and Jackboys 2 is about to take it to the next level.
The countdown begins... this Sunday, it's go time!
