Benny Blanco drops major update on Selena Gomez wedding

Benny Blanco recently revealed plans for his wedding to Selena Gomez after being engaged for nearly seven months.

In conversation with Therapuss podcast on Thursday, Benny admitted, “I think this summer we’re going to sit down and be like, ‘Okay, what are we doing?’” he said. “I think it will be, like, chill. It’ll be chill.”

The record producer confessed that their schedules have been insane. Between Selena filming Only Murders in the Building Season 5 and the couple shooting music videos for their album, they’ve had zero time to think about the wedding.

“We’ve both been working so much”, he said. “We got engaged and then we were filming music videos for our album, then it [was the] holidays, then right after the holidays we had to start all the promo for our stuff.” He told Shane.

Benny discussed how he wants to finally relax with his fiancée, “I haven’t really had much time off in a while, and... I just want to lay in bed and forget what day it is because we’ve been in bed just watching stuff,”

The lovebirds shocked fans when they announced their engagement on December 11, 2024, via Instagram with Selena posting a close-up picture of the diamond ring alongside the caption, “Forever begins now.”

However, fans shouldn’t let their hopes up since the lovers don’t plan on getting married anytime soon.

Benny is currently working on his second book, while Selena focuses on her acting career and beauty brand, Rare.
