Jurassic World: Rebirth roared in with a record-breaking opening after its release, but while it was being filmed, Hollywood megastar Scarlett Johansson made the experience memorable with a “special” dinner.
Recently, in a chat with PEOPLE, Scarlett’s Rebirth co-star Jonathan Bailey recalled the family dinner she hosted for the cast members.
The dinosaur action movie was filmed in locations like Malta, Thailand, and New York City, with a cast that also includes Mahershala Ali, Rupert Friend, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, and more.
During the production, Bailey said that Scarlett "brought everyone together" in Malta. "Everyone's family was there at the same time."
“We were in a square in Valletta, and it was just really special," he added.
The MCU’s Black Widow has a daughter, Rose, with ex-husband Romain Dauriac, and a son, Cosmo, 3, with husband Colin Jost.
While Bailey remembered their dinner, Scarlett said, "It was beautiful, and it was so nice to see everybody's children playing in the square.”
She noted that all the cast’s partners were present. The dinner “was a wonderful celebration” of what, Scarlett said, they had accomplished at that point and the work they’d done.
“It was kind of the halfway point. It was so nice,” Scarlett added.
