Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie made the Hollywood it-couple during the time they were together, and now the F1 actor is reportedly voicing his regrets over the split.
The pair, who separated in 2016 but finalised their divorce proceedings in 2024, had the Mr. and Mrs. Smith star had been struggling due to the long, drawn-out separation.
A source dished to Us Weekly, “the divorce is something that had been controlling his life for so many years.”
The insider continued, describing Brad’s feelings about the divorce from Angelina saying, “He loved her and he knows he made mistakes.”
The duo also shares six children, namely, Maddox, 23, Pax, 21, Zahara, 20, Shiloh, 19, and 16-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox that seemed to have picked sides with one of their parents.
As noted by the source, the kids seemed to have sided with their mother in the aftermath of the messy split, but Brad doesn’t hold it against the Maleficent star.
For the unversed, the children have been vocal about their decision to be estranged from their father, with some of them even dropping his last name, choosing to keep Angelina’s instead.
Angelina Jolie is well liked because of her continuous humanitarian work, such as supporting women's rights and refugees.
