Kenneth Branagh sets to join 'The Devil Wears Prada 2'

Great news for fans of “The Devil Wears Prada 2” as the long-awaited sequel has finally entered into its production phase.
Adding to the excitement, Kenneth Branagh is set to join the cast.
The 64-years-old has previously acted in acclaimed films like Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets and film adaptation of William Shakespeare including Henry V (1989) and Much Ado About Nothing (1993).
The Oscar winner will play the role of Miranda Priestly’s husband who is the powerful New York City based editor-in-chief of the fictional magazine 'Runway' in the movie.
The sequel returned after twenty years. The 20th Century Studios announced on Monday June 30, 2025, that the production of the The Devil Wears Prada 2 has officially started.
Last year, it was announced that Streep and Emily Blunt would also be returning with their iconic characters in the sequel.
The film will be directed by David Frankel who also directed the first part and is also known for directing the first and fourth episodes of the Netflix miniseries Inventing Anna (2022).
