Ed Sheeran made an unannounced appearance at British Summer Time (BST), an annual music concerts series in London’s Hyde Park alongside Olivia Rodrigo on Friday, June 27.
The Sapphire vocalist and the Drivers Licence songstress set the stage on fire with The A Team performance. Olivia's unexpected move to bring out the Shape of You singer surprised fans.
Ed, 34, turned to his official Instagram to praise the Guts popstar: “Been a fan of Olivia’s since Drivers License blew my mind back at the start of 2021. Both albums are no skips for me, I’m a proper fan.”
Four time Grammy award winner revealed how he met Olivia: “We first met at the rock and roll hall of fame back in 2022, sat next to each other with her mum and my dad and went on to hang and keep in touch from there.”
The Thinking Out Loud pop sensation wrote about his appearance on BST Hyde Park: “She hit me and asked to sing The A Team with her, which was such a buzz. That song turns 15 this year.”
