Lalo Schifrin, Hollywood’s legendary composer of all times, passed away at age 93.
Lalo produced many timeless compositions in his lifelong career some includes Mission Impossible theme, that gave a milestone boost to the television series that kickstarted the franchise, which later filmed starring Tom Cruise that’s still thrives.
Lalo was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, he became a fan of American jazz in his teens. He was also a pianist and conductor. Lalo left an indelible mark on Hollywood's music landscape through his iconic work.
He had received six Oscar nomination for movie scores that included the 1979 film Cool Hand Luke and The Amityville Horror in 1979.
Schifrin also received an honorary Oscar for his lifetime work back in 2018.
Schifrin has also worked on the films Cool Hand Luke (1967), Clint Eastwood’s Dirty Harry films, and Bruce Lee’s iconic action flick Enter the Dragon (1973).
Lalo Schifrin is survived by his wife Donna, and the couple has three children.
