Disgraced actor Ezra Miller is seemingly considering making a return to Hollywood, two years after his last on-screen appearance, and three since his several legal issues.
He took viewers by surprise by making an appearance at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival to support his friend, Lynne Ramsay's Die My Love.
Having directed The Flash actor in We Need to Talk About Kevin, Miller claimed that Ramsay is "one of my closest friends in the world" as well as "one of the greatest living filmmakers.”
He further revealed, "I'm working with her again. That will likely be the first thing I do, is a film that her and I are writing together. I've been writing a lot because you can do that in solitude, which has been friendly to me."
On his relationship with cinema at the moment, he remarked, "Tentative — I'd say on tentative grounds."
The actor’s problems, both legal and personal in nature, blew up in 2022, although he already faced criticism in 2020 when videos of him choking a woman in Iceland came up.
In 2022, Miller was faced with serious accusations including assault, abuse, and grooming children, getting arrested for disorderly conduct. It was followed by a series of subsequent arrests, including one for burglary charges.
