The brand-new Spider Man film has a number of details under lock and key, but another exciting role reprisal had just been revealed.
Destin Daniel Cretton will be helming the project set for release in 2026 and he has bought back the role of the Punisher from television series straight to the big screen.
Jon Bernthal, who played the ruthless vigilante in previous Marvel films has joined the project.
Along with him, Zendaya and Jacob Batalon who played the iconic roles of MJ and Ned, Peter Parker’s girlfriend and best friend respectively, will also be reprising their roles.
Stranger Things’ Sadie Sink will also be joining the franchise and although not much is confirmed about her role in the movie, but rumours online have likened her to the character of Mayday Parker.
Meanwhile, Bernthal’s character has been garnering more attention in recent years and will even be getting his very own Disney+ special, which is to be co-written by the actor portraying him.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day is the fourth film in the series around Tom Holland’s rendition of Spider Man, with the other iconic Spider Man’s being Tobey Mcguire and Andrew Garfield.
Zendaya and Tom Holland were confirmed to be engaged in January 2025 when Tom proposed at one of Zendaya’s family homes with a 5 carat diamond ring.
