Seems like the ‘Drake Curse’ has struck again as Drizzy loses another massive sports bet.
The rapper wagered a combined $800,000 for the Oklahoma City Thunder to win Game 6 of the NBA Finals against the Indiana Pacers.
Right after announcing the bet on his Instagram, Drake also revealed that he has lost more than $8 million this month after wagering $124 million on various bets.
“Gotta share the other side of gambling. Losses are so fried right now. I hope I can post a big win for you all soon cause I’m the only one that has never seen a max these guys max once a week,” the 38-year-old reflected in the accompanying caption.
The aforementioned game took place on Thursday, which saw Indiana beating Oklahoma with a final score of 108–91, tying the series 3-3.
The Pacers' win translates into an additional deficit for Drake as he has now lost over $9 million in gambling this month alone.
Fans of the God’s Plan rapper are likely to be concerned right now, considering their favourite artist had just started to gain positive momentum after a rough 2024.
