Pusha T released a diss track about Travis Scott, which was backed up with some extreme statements.
The Mercy rapper, who is one half of Clipse, took some blatant digs at the Fein rapper on the band’s newest track So Be It.
In the lyrics of the song, Pusha made references to an old altercation, while also dragging his ex, Kylie Jenner into the drama.
“You cried in front of me, you died in front of me, Calabasas took your b**ch and your pride in front of me,” the Hard Piano singer crooned.
The other lyrics from the track were later explained by Pusha himself in a conversation with GQ magazine.
The 48-year-old had noted, “The true context of that is we were in Paris, literally working, and he was calling to play P his new album. He came to [Pharrell’s] studio [at Louis Vuitton HQ, where Clipse recorded most of Let God Sort Em Out]. He interrupted a session.”
He went on to explain that he did not like Travis because the Type Sh*t rapper switches sides whenever it suits him, making references to his behaviour during the rap battle between Drake and Kendrick Lamar.
Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott were a tumultuous couple for six years, from 2017 to 2022.
