The infamous East Coast-West Coast rivalry between Suge Knight and Sean “Diddy” Combs has recently been re-ignited by the former’s comments on the latter’s ongoing trial.

The Death Row Records founder, who is serving his 28-year sentence after being convicted for a fatal hit-and-run, has now spoken up about the infamous domestic abuse clip in which Cassie Ventura was dragged and beaten by her ex-boyfriend, Diddy.

Only a few weeks prior, the former National Football League player had stated that the Bad Boy Records founder should walk free, since he was not the only one involved in the scandal and there were other executives who played a part as well.

In a series of free-ranging calls between Suge and media outlet People, the 60-year-old candidly stated, “I never said he should walk away a free man. He does deserve [prison].”

The record executive touched on accountability, noting that he believes anyone involved in criminal activity should be held liable, including himself.

"Anybody who does those horrible things to women deserves their issue,” Suge declared, before adding of the footage, “I had never really seen a woman get dragged, beaten and disrespected like that before.”

Notably, Diddy’s legal team fought tooth and nail for the clip to not be admitted as evidence in the trial.

How long did Cassie and Diddy date?

Cassie Ventura and Sean “Diddy” Combs were in a long-term relationship from 2007 to 2018.
