Things got a bit tense as K.Dot arrived on Drizzy’s territory for the first time since the intensification of their highly publicised rivalry in 2024.

Kendrick Lamar and SZA continue to co-headline their Grand National Tour, which was announced last December to further promote the 37-year-old’s Grammy-winning album, GNX.

The all-stadium tour consists of 39 performances across North America and Europe, with the first show held in Minneapolis on 19th April and the last in Stockholm on 18th June.

On Thursday, Lamar made his stop in Drake's hometown of Toronto with heavy security to perform two concerts at the Rogers Centre.

While the Compton native did not pour gasoline on the flame, he did sing his most famous Drake diss track Not Like Us.

The two rappers go way back, with their feud beginning in 2013 when the Canadian singer responded to Lamar's verse on the track Control by Big Sean.

After years of subtle jabs, the beef became mainstream in 2023 when J. Cole collaborated with Drake on First Person Shooter.

In the song, Cole claimed that he, Drake and Lamar are the “big three” rappers of contemporary hip-hop, a notion that was dismissed by K.Dot, who proclaimed in Like That that it is “just big me.”

The rivalry escalated in 2024 when the two artists traded insults in diss tracks such as Family Matters and Euphoria.

How much are the ticket prices for the Grand National Tour?

Rolling Stone reports that the cheapest tickets for Kendrick Lamar and SZA’s Grand National Tour are around $107, with some vendors also offering the passes at about $150.
