Taylor Swift, who shared a close bond with Blake Lively since 2015, faced a major setback after being subpoenaed in ongoing lawsuit crossfire.

Although the subpoena has been dropped, her long-term friendship with Blake was heavily affected during the case, according to many reports.

However, Taylor and the Gossip Girl alum are now on their way to betterment as they are striving to be “on good terms,” as dished by PEOPLE.

It is to be noted that the two are not “as close” as they were before the onset of the legal drama. They “haven’t been spending as much time together.”

The outlet noted that the 14-time Grammy winner “is working on" building the trust on her friend again but “it’s going to take some time.”

This came after the Bad Blood singer got involved in the lawsuit against Justin Baldoni, who is the director of the 2024 romantic drama.

After sharing screen with the Jane the Virgin actor, the Green Lantern actress filed a sexual harassment suit against her co-star.

The filmmaker denied the allegations and responded with a $400 million defamation case against the actress and her husband Ryan Reynolds.

He accused the couple of extortion and privacy invasion.
