Miley Cyrus, Billy Ray Cyrus take first step towards reconciliation

Pop star Miley Cyrus and her country singer father Billy Ray Cyrus were popular on screen when Miley was growing up in public's eyes as Hannah Montanna.

However, the father-daughter duo’s bond was affected sharply when Billy divorced Miley’s mother Tish.

Following the divorce, Miley decided to side with her mother that consequently affected her relationship with her father.

The two have reportedly taken first step towards reconciliation as the country singer shared a picture on his Instagram that featured the pop star.

It has been revealed by RadarOnline that the post came following Miley’s godmother, country legend Dolly Parton’s warning.

Dolly, who recently lost her husband Carl Dean, advised the family to reconcile as she does not want to go to grave while they are still feuding.

“Billy Ray and Miley say life is too short to stay mad at people”, the source added.

How many Grammys did Miley Cyrus win?

Miley Cyrus won her first Grammy award for her song Flowers in 2024. She has a total of three Grammys.
