Joshua Jackson, who has been in the entertainment industry for over two decades, regretted taking his daughter Juno to the set of his new movie Karate Kid: Legends.
The 46-year-old admitted in an interview with PEOPLE that he did a “really stupid thing” while working on the project.
Joshua revealed that the toddler, whom he shares with Jodie Turner-Smith, was visiting Montreal for a family trip so he “brought her on set that day that we were doing the fight scenes.”
The little girl did not like “seeing her dad get beat up” and this is why he will not watch “it with her in the theatrical run.”
However, the Doctor Odyssey actor believes this issue will settle “within a couple of years.”
Although the plan did not work out well between the father and daughter, the duo is already planning to enjoy summers as Juno will be graduating “from school or from [Transitional Kindergarten] TK.”
In the upcoming family movie, Joshua is portraying the role of a retired boxing champion. He will be sharing screen with Jackie Chan and Ralph Macchio.
He reportedly had to gain around 20 lbs. for the role, which turned out to be “harder” than he thought it was going to be.
The actor had to increase his daily calorie intake up to “4000.”
