Rihanna, who shares two sons with A$AP Rocky, announced her third pregnancy on the Met Gala red carpet.
The 37-year-old singer made a striking appearance at the annual event, confirming the speculation that she is expecting.
However, another rumour began to make the rounds that the Diamonds hitmaker is not just carrying one child but twins.
While posing for the cameras, she made a comment which caught the attention of her fans.
In a TikTok video, one of the paparazzi asked the nine-time Grammy Award winner if she had her “umbrella, ella, ella eh” with her.
Rihanna replied to the reporter that her husband “brought that.” She added: “I brought the kid,” while pointing towards her baby bump.
However, some admirers heard her say that their favourite singer "brought the kids.”
One user commented on the clip: “KIDS. As in twins???? Or more?????”
Another was shocked, writing: “Did she say KIDSSSSSS OR AM I TRIPPING?”
While others maintained that the mother-of-two was talking about only one child and people have misheard her.
Rihanna, who looked glamourous in the corset dress, was a co-chair at the May event along with her partner A$AP.
The beginning of the year was harsh for the couple as the rapper faced felony assault charges. He was found “not guilty” in the case that was filed by his former friend Relli.
