Kim Kardashian praises daughter North’s fashion sense at Met Gala

Kim Kardashian opened up about her daughter North's influence on her fashion perspective.

On May 5, at the 2025 Met Gala, the SKIMS founder spoke with host Emma Chamberlain about her daughter's fashion criticism.

The 44-year-old said she had a “chill day” preparing for the event with her daughter, North, stating,

“Every time I come to the Met, I love bringing my oldest daughter with me.” 

“Just to see me get ready, and all her aunties are in the hotel, and we’re all getting ready together, so it’s just a fun few days.”

The host asked the businesswoman what she had learned from her daughter's fashion sense that stood out as a valuable lesson for her.

The Kardashians star mentioned, North gives tough feedback, she's now in a good place, accepting people's styles and encouraging others to be their true selves.

Back in 2022, Kim shared that North, then 8, would often critique her outfits for lacking colour. The activist wrapped up, adding, she loves the positivity North brings, saying she was a positive force, which was great.
