Rob and Michele Reiner’s unfortunate murders rocked the world after they were revealed to be a case of familicide.
The director and his wife were killed by their own son, Nick Reiner, and their bodies were reportedly discovered by their daughter Romy.
As per sources who have spilled to the Daily Mail, “It feels like Romy has been scared of Nick since she was a child, even before his drug addiction, his outbursts were frightening because they seemed to come out of nowhere. She tried to stay out of his way as much as she could but it wasn’t easy.”
The insiders added that the 27-year-old was also uncomfortable with the idea of her brother living in their parents’ guesthouse.
“She didn’t even like the idea of him living across the street from her, but she knew they moved him in so they could keep a close eye on him and give him a roof over his head,” they added of Romy, who lived close by to her parents.
Notably, the actress is closer to her other brother, Jake, who has also been shaken by the horrible deaths of their parents.
What is Nick Reiner doing now?
Nick has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder, after he fatally stabbed his parents.
