‘The White Lotus’ star eyes ‘American Psycho’ lead role
The actor is letting everyone know he is down to play the ‘American Psycho’ lead
American Psycho is a cult classic Horror comedy based on the 1991 novel of Bret Easton Ellis.
It was announced that director Luca Guadagnino will be remaking the cult classic after it was first made by Mary Harron in 2000 starring Christian Bale.
The White Lotus star, Patrick Schwarzenegger, has voiced his interest to play the iconic role in Luca’s upcoming adaptation.
When a fan on X suggested that Patrick should be casted for the role, the actor was quick to reply in agreement.
“Patrick Schwarzenegger, I’ve found your break out role”, the fan posted.
“I’d love nothing more”, the actor replied with a wink emoji.
This is not the first instance when the actor has expressed his desire to play the character of the investment banker.
When the news of the adaptation was announced, Patrick said playing the role of Patrick Bateman is his “dream role”.
The upcoming project is not a remake of the 2000 adaptation but a fresh take on the horror-comedy by Luca.
