Goldie Hawn recalls memories with the late actress Ruth Buzzi
Goldie Hawn paid tribute to deceased comedian Ruth Buzzi just a day after her death.
The 88-year-old passed away at her home while sleeping peacefully.
On Friday, Overboard actress wrote a note on her Instagram in memory of the costar Ruth, "My Ruthie, you’re gone, and it hurts so deeply. I’ll always treasure our daily calls, and how we could talk endlessly, even after long days."
She added, “You were my girlfriend, my heart through life’s ups and downs. You made me laugh like no one else could. You were beyond talented, Ruthie."
The Death Becomes Her actress mentioned that Buzzi was one of the kindest souls who made people laugh and brought light to people's lives.
She concluded the heartfelt note while wishing Ruth to get, "peace and beautiful travels in the arms of the angels."
The daughters of the departed took to the comment section of her tribute post to comment with the symbol of a white dove along with heart emojis.
Buzzi, 88, received many awards for her TV acting career in her lifetime, including a Golden Globe award in 1973 and five Emmy awards.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the former actress died on May 1st due to secondary issues arising from Alzheimer’s disease.
