Kirk Medas, who is known for being one of the main cast of Floribama Shore, has passed away at the age of 33.
The news of his demise was confirmed by his co-star and friend Amiee Hall, who turned to Facbook to write a long, heartfelt note in his remembrance.
The actress revealed an emotional encounter she had at the beach when “a dolphin kept coming back up to me, as if to say goodbye,” making her feel that Kirk is no more.
Both Kirk and the TV star shared a love for “dolphins and the ocean, and in that moment, I just knew.”
Although she is devastated to learn about TV personality’s death, the 32-year-old is at ease that his suffering has finally come to an end as he is “no longer in pain.”
The Hollywood/Highland actress explained her mixed feelings: “He is in heaven now… free, whole and making everyone laugh the way only he could.”
The 33-year-old performer was admitted in the ICU two weeks ago after doctors confirmed that he is suffering from "severe" necrotising pancreatitis and sepsis.
The disease causes death of a part of pancreas while sepsis, triggered by an infection, can end up in organ dysfunction or death.
