Ellen DeGeneres, who infamously dated late actress Anne Heche for three years, has made it to headlines after a surprising revelation about the duo.
The netizens are calling the Volcano star “head over heels” for the TV show host as they found out how the 53-year-old tried to save her relationship and what measures she took.
This comes after the former Entertainment Tonight producer Fran Weinstein came forward to promote the memoir, Tortured Soles: High Heels, Low Expectations and The Hollywood Gossip Mill on late Tony Award nominee and revealed “wild” details about the old flame’s bond.
In a recent interview with Page Six, she confessed that she thought Anne was a “fine actress” and recalled the diva’s reaction when she mentioned fellow actor, Vince Vaughn.
The reporter gushed that the passed-away star looked at her in shock, “lost her mind - eyes opened like a sinkhole.”
Fran confessed that she was also warned after the interview to not share the tape with anyone, in which reportedly, Anne was seen visibly uncomfortable and astonished upon hearing about the Nonnas actor.
Anne, who died after a car crash in 2022, also confronted Fran, saying, “You have no respect for me. You have no respect for my girlfriend!” because she thought that the interviewer might publish her tape and didn’t hand it over to her when asked.
Notably, Fran revealed that the tape had not been found till this date, and she believes that Ellen’s ex-lover, “instructed someone to throw it (tape) into a New York City sewer,” as she was afraid of losing her partner at that time.
For the unversed, Hollywood’s “first gay super couple” dated from 1997 to 2000.
