Hollywood leading star, Florence Pugh, is seen nowadays on red carpets and on press tours for the upcoming MCU movie Thunderbolts.

The MCU’s Yelena Belova is crushing each red carpet look at the movie premiere. From a sheer black lacy dress to a timeless springtime green ruffled layered dress, each of her looks enchants the viewers.

Recently, in an interview with Who What Wear, the fashion darling discussed the pressure and feeling of the “expectancy” of the red carpet with actors to be someone they are not and compared with the runway models.

The conversation started when the interviewer commented that a certain audition requires actors to have a high follower count to even get in the room.

“It’s so s**t,” Pugh responded, “It’s not the same thing. It’s not the same thing at all.”

The Oscar-nominated star said she was having a similar conversation with a friend about how “mental” red carpet events expect actors to be someone they are not. She said that being a model isn’t an actor’s job.

“They are good at being on a camera that is this close with that face, and they know how to show how raw their soul is on the flick of a switch. That’s their talent. Their talent isn’t anything beyond that,” the Little Women standout stated.

Pugh further said that actors can be beyond acting as well, and their talents can be more than that, but acting is something they get paid to do and the reason people recognise them as actors.

“And you’re supposed to be able to be like a runway model,” Pugh affirmed, “and you’re compared against runway models.”

Marvel star further told that it takes years and years to understand what clothing suits your body and being proud of your body as it is, while not telling yourself that it should be any different from the way you are.

And when the interviewer asked if it's like playing a role, Florence Pugh said, “It's so exposing because it's you being beautiful, which is like everybody's inner hell.”
