Pop star Katy Perry began her Lifetimes tour on April 23 with the first show taking place in Mexico City.
The singer, who made history by being on the first-ever all-women flight to space, was criticised harshly for her highly publicised space trip.
However, the pop icon did not let the mockery get under her skin as she recreated the “in-air” moment at her opening show.
Katy took the stage and asked the crowd if anyone has been told their dreams are “crazy”, seemingly hinting at people who called her space trip “mad”, “gluttonous” etc.
The 40-year-old was held by harness as she was lifted in air wearing a white bodysuit. The singer put on an electrifying show while she was in air, doing aerobics and singing.
The Lifetimes tour will go on till December 7, 2025, however the singer was pushed to cancel two shows in Mexico as the stadiums where she was scheduled to perform were still under-construction.
Katy Perry is currently engaged to Orlando Bloom, while she was previously married to Russel Brand from 2010 to 2012.
