Wednesday Addams shook things up when she first arrived at Nevermore Academy, and now, Netflix has dropped the official teaser trailer for Wednesday Season 2, featuring her return alongside everyone’s favourite disembodied sidekick, Thing.

Netflix confirms in the teaser that the show will be released in two parts. Part One premieres on 6th August, while Part Two will stream starting 3rd September.

The hit Netflix series, led by Jenna Ortega, follows Addams as she navigates life at Nevermore Academy and unravels eerie murder mysteries with her iconic psychic abilities.

In Season 2, Addams is back solving yet another chilling case—this time involving sinister dolls and deadly monsters. The teaser opens with her at an airport security checkpoint, where she casually empties an arsenal of weapons from her bag onto the conveyor belt.

Her collection includes brass knuckles, pepper spray, knives, nunchucks, a taser gun, and a twin-spiked ball flail, among other surprises. Hilariously, it’s the sun cream that raises eyebrows, and, as the teaser reveals, it actually belongs to Thing.

The season leans harder into horror, ditching the teen romance vibes of the first, and dives deeper into Wednesday’s relationship with her mother, Morticia.

We’ll also meet new family members, with Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzmán, and Isaac Ordoñez (Pugsley) all returning as series regulars.

Uncle Fester is back, too, and a spinoff centred on him is already in the works.

Joining the cast this season are Luyanda Unati Lewis-Nyawo (Deputy Ritchie Santiago), Billie Piper, Steve Buscemi, Joanna Lumley, Evie Templeton, Owen Painter, and Noah Taylor.

Oh, and brace yourself, Lady Gaga is making a guest appearance.
