Sean “Diddy” Combs is facing a significant setback just days before his highly anticipated trial.

The music mogul is currently behind bars after being arrested on September 16, 2024 on sex trafficking and racketeering charges.

The arrest followed a barrage of allegations against Diddy, ranging from sexual misconduct to hosting “Freak-off” parties.

The federal prosecutors have now added another accusation to that ever-growing list after they alleged that Diddy broke into the house of one of his victims in 2011.

The prosecutors are seeking to use a 911 call recording allegedly made by the victim as evidence in the upcoming trial.

Acting U.S. Attorney Matthew Podolsky said in his petitions that “Because this call was made shortly after discovering the break-in… Individual 2’s statements are nevertheless admissible because they were made close in time to when he observed the break-in at his home.”

Podolsky claims that the 911 call is a crucial evidence in proving that Diddy was operating a criminal enterprise.

Prosecutors also intend to use testimonies and text messages of Diddy’s previous employees as part of their broader strategy to pursue three felony counts against the 55-year-old.

When will the Diddy trial begin?

Diddy is currently locked up in the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York where he is awaiting his trial which is scheduled to begin on May 5.
