Kesha Rose spoke candidly with the host about her secret relationship and why she ended her confidential engagement.
In her latest interview with SiriusXM’s The Morning Mash Up, the Die Young singer, 38, stated, "Basically, I find that writing songs leads me to my truth."
The Take it off singer continued, "I was engaged and I didn't wanna be anymore and I didn't even realize that I was gonna break up with him until I wrote a song about it, and then I listened back to it, and I was like, 'Oh no, I'm gonna break up with him now,' but it led me to my truth 'cause I can't lie in the song."
According to Rolling Stone, Kesha composed Too Far Gone for the album Gag Order after the breakup in 2023.
The American singer shed light on her split, stating, “You can’t lie in a song. A, your song will suck, but also, that’s not what it’s there for, you know?”
The award-winning artist also discussed her experience with non-monogamy, while revealing she's been in love with people of various genders and is now seeking a relationship with a financially stable "sugar daddy."
