Katy Perry faces backlash as Kesha mocks space flight

On Monday, the American singer Kesha took to social media to poke fun at Jeff Bezos’ Blue Origin space mission, sharing humorous remarks about the launch.

The all-female, star-studded space flight has drawn criticism from a number of celebrities but Wendy’s shocked the public with a tweet that specifically targeted Katy Perry.

Pop Carve shared a photo of the 40-year-old in her space suit with the caption, “Katy Perry has returned from space.” 

The post was later commented on by the burger joint's social media account, adding to the playful banter surrounding the space mission.

“Can we send her back,” the restaurant chain replied.

Following the songwriter's space mission, the restaurant reposted photos of the singer kissing the ground upon her return to Earth.

However, in a playful nod to the star's hit song, I Kissed a Girl, the eatery captioned the image, “I kissed the ground and I liked it,” adding another layer to their lighthearted social media banter.

Kesha added to the drama by sharing a picture of herself grinning and tasting an outlet shake.
