Taylor Swift, who initially clashed with Kanye West in 2009, is reportedly looking to put an end to the controversial rapper’s defamatory comments about her with legal proceedings.

The Heartless singer had made shocking remarks about the Look What You Made Me Do singer, including blatantly sexist and misogynistic remarks along with making light of rape allegations against him.

The 47-year-old took to Twitter (formerly known as X) to write “IM MAD I HAVENT F**KED TAYLOR SWIFT… YET,” amongst other tweets explicitly describing his desire to have intimate relations with Taylor and Madonna.

Following this, the Yeezy owner made another shocking claim involving Justin Bieber, “I’ll show you an example of racism. Justin Bieber and Harry Styles f**ked Taylor swift from both sides and didn’t call me. Oh I forgot. I can’t hold water.”

This string of tweets posted on April 10 has made the Better Than Revenge singer file a cease and desist motion against the rap mogul, sources revealed to Daily Mail the following day.

“This isn’t just [West] gossiping. This is [West] sexually harassing a woman, defaming her and intending to cause harm to her and to her career,” the insider claimed.

The report went on to state that derogatory claims have also upset Taylor’s boyfriend, Travis Kelce, who is open to confronting Kanye “man to man.”

Notably, Kanye has frequently made headlines due to his rants targeting big names like Beyoncé, Jay-Z, Justin Bieber and ex-wife Kim Kardashian with bold claims and explicit language.

What did Kanye West say to Taylor Swift?

Kanye West interrupted Taylor Swift’s 2009 MTV VMA acceptance speech for winning the Best Female Video award.

He took the microphone to famously proclaim, "I'm really happy for you, I'ma let you finish, but Beyoncé had one of the best videos of all time!" before handing Taylor the award.

The moment quickly made rounds on the internet and has since become a pivotal moment in the turbulent relationship between the two artists.
