Eugene Mirman is sharing how he is doing after his car crash that also blew up in flames when it came in contact with a toll plaza on March 31.
The Bob’s Burgers star also sustained a number of injuries such as broken ribs, a broken wrist and a concussion.
In an interview with Variety, the comedian revealed “I obviously went through an insane accident, for the first few days, people didn't know it was me! But I am doing really good.”
Mirman added, “I was injured, but not nearly as much as probably the images that were out there in the world potentially made it seem. So I'm doing not bad. I was just at the Lego store for ‘May the Fourth' with my son [Ollie], looking at Star Wars Legos. So I'm back in life.”
The comedian said that it was his only near-death experience, which he noted that he doesn’t remember much from.
Mirman added that he has no interest in seeing the images from the crash and hasn’t sought them out since it occurred, but is sure that they were terrifying and that people had to see them and were concerned.
Notably, the 51-year-old remarked that he would probably include the bit in his comedy special in the future and that he is simply happy to be alive.
