Kris Jenner is ready to talk business, and has now shared what she considers to be the most important elements to achieving professional goals.
The “momager” who oversees the careers of all her children, namely, Kim, Kourtney, Khloe, Rob, Kendall, and Kylie along with being the brains behind the family’s collective reality TV show Keeping Up With The Kardashians, recently offered advice to two aspiring business women.
Kris was interviewed by Phoebe Gates and Sophia Kianni in the latest episode of their podcast, The Burnouts, where she revealed that the key to having “business rizz” was to "leave your ego at the door" and be confident, rather than being held back by fear.
She then went on to give practical examples from her private life, reminiscing on the time she was a flight attendant, and things were not going her way.
“I was miserable,” the 69-year-old said, about not being able to land on a route with Los Angeles, because of her amateur status.
However, the In the Kitchen with Kris author quickly realised that she must resort to “another way” to resolve her issues, which was networking and negotiation.
“So I started talking to everybody I could about how can I get on these flights,” which Kris followed up by walking into the scheduling office to say, “‘Listen, I’ve got a problem. This is what I need and this is what I know you have the power to do. How can we meet in the middle? What can I do to accomplish this.’”
It is important to note that Kris has also invested in Phoebe and Sophia’s soon-to-be-launched sustainable fashion platform, Phia.
