Taylor Swift, who got entangled in her friend’s sexual harassment lawsuit, has finally spoken up after receiving an apology from Blake Lively.
The 37-year-old star apologised to the Shake It Off singer to mend their broken bond that came in the way of her ongoing It Ends With Us legal drama, as reported by Page six.
According to the source, the Bad Blood hitmaker “appreciated” Blake for admitting her mistake and has accepted the plea as it felt “genuine and heartfelt.”
The popstar holds “no hard feelings and is ready to move forward.”
On the other hand, the Gossip Girl alum “missed their friendship and she hopes they can put this whole thing behind them,” as she did not intend to hurt her long-time friend.
The connection between the two strained after Justin Baldoni named the 14-times Grammy winner in his lawsuit, claiming that A Simple Favor star involved Taylor to make changes in the script.
Earlier, the Cruel Summer songstress reportedly felt “used” by her pal and did not like being “referred to as one of Blake’s dragons” in the case.
Blake and Justin were at odds on the set of the movie adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s famous novel.
Following the film's release, the mother of four lodged a complaint against her director and on-screen love interest, alleging that he sexually harassed her.
Justin denied the charges and responded with a $400 million defamation suit against the Savages actress and her husband Ryan Reynolds.
