Ben Affleck recreates iconic meme while filming in LA

Ben Affleck’s grabs attention, with the “sad Affleck” smoking meme staying popular even after eight years.

The actor and director appears to have recreate it once more, looking unhappy, while taking a smoke break from filming his new movie Animals in Los Angeles, following the recent finalisation of his divorce from Jennifer Lopez.

In the viral picture, the Batman star can be seen leaning next to a sign that says, “No food,” with a cigarette attached from his lips and an unimpressed expression on his face, "No food, No drinks, No smoking, inside water only!”

In addition to playing the dual role of director and star of the crime thriller. The 52-year-old is spotted conversing with crew member while wearing blue jeans and a gray fleece, appearing to be in pain.

By contrast, the original “sad Affleck” smoking meme, which originated in London in August 2016, featured him wearing blue jeans and a sweater, looking worn out or depressed, with his eyes closed and a cigarette in his right hand.

The news site The Cut first released the image as part of series of images featuring the actor smoking, vaping, and appearing to be in a bad mood.
