Jennifer Lopez didn’t hold back when a pap crossed the line with her daughter, Emme, during the star-studded Othello premiere in New York on Sunday night.
The Unstoppable actor and singer attended the black-tie Broadway opening with her 17-year-old child, but things got heated outside the Ethel Barrymore Theatre when a photographer allegedly shoved a camera into Emme’s face.
According to a Page Six eyewitness, the moment set Lopez off. “[She] yelled at the guy. She went full mama bear,” the source said, describing the moment the “Ain’t Your Mama” singer fiercely defended her teen from the invasive lens.
Despite the incident, the night wasn’t entirely overshadowed. Lopez later posted a sweet video on social media of her and Emme sharing a lighthearted moment, writing: “Othello premiere with the best date ever.”
But J.Lo wasn’t the only one dealing with red carpet drama.
On Monday’s episode of her daytime show, Sherri Shepherd revealed that an “unnamed celebrity” confronted her during the event, accusing her of "shading" them.
“She grabbed my arm and forcefully turned me around,” Shepherd said. “She came up to me in front of everybody… You don’t freakin’ get to do that to me.”
While the mystery celeb’s identity remains unknown, one thing’s clear — Broadway wasn’t the only place for drama that night.
