Adam Sandler returns to green in ‘Happy Gilmore 2’ trailer

Adam Sandler can be seen returning to the green in the trailer for Happy Gilmore 2, bringing back the laughs and nostalgia.

The film seems to follow Sandler’s Happy as he dons his Boston Bruins jersey to give getting his golf glory one last chance.

Julie Bowen makes a return as Virginia Venit, along with Christopher McDonald as Shooter McGavin. Bad Bunny takes on the role of Happy’s caddie as he smashes a golf club over his leg in one clip.

Actor and director, Ben Stiller makes an appearance as an evil nursing home orderly, Hal.

Other cast members include Travis Kelce, Conor Sherry, Ethan Cutkosky, Blake Clark, and Maxwell Jacob Friedman.

Sandler’s two daughters, Sadie and Sunny will also make appearances in the film. A few professional and former golfers Justin Thomas, Scottie Scheffler, Rory McIlroy, Bryson DeChambeau, and John Daly will be joining as well.

As for cameos, Margaret Qualley, Benny Safdie, and golf instructor/model Paige Spiranic can be expected to appear on screen, as well as a “funny as hell” scene from Eminem.

About the rapper’s cameo, Sandler said, “I’ve known Eminem for a long time, he’s a great guy and he came in and was funny as hell. I think we just hung out a day with Eminem and he just shot and shot and he was insane. He said a million things we can use and a million that we’re glad we have him on tape.”
