Buckingham Palace isn’t losing sleep over Prince Harry’s ongoing feud with Queen Camilla.
Despite Harry branding her “dangerous” and accusing her of sacrificing him for her “personal PR altar” in his 2023 memoir Spare, royal insiders claim Camilla’s aides “almost never” discuss the Duke and Duchess of Sussex behind palace doors.
Newsweek reported on Friday, March 14, that there’s far more media speculation about Harry and Meghan than actual concern from the royals.
“Far more thought and hiatus is stirred up in the media around what the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are or aren’t doing on any given day than was ever a fixation at the Palace,” a royal source told the outlet, emphasising that the topic is “almost never discussed.”
In Spare, Harry detailed his uneasy relationship with Camilla, admitting he and Prince William once begged their father not to marry her. He also claimed she strategically played “the long game” to secure her place on the throne. The book further accused her of leaking private conversations to the press, which he believed was part of her PR strategy.
Harry’s rift with Camilla is just one of many fractures within the royal family. His relationship with Prince William and Princess Kate remains frosty, with no contact since the memoir’s release.
However, Harry rushed back to London in 2024 after learning of King Charles’ cancer diagnosis, briefly reuniting with his father for a 45-minute meeting at Clarence House.
